About Bee Cave Municipal Court
Ms. Farren Sheehan is a Central Texas native. She obtained her B.A.
from Southern Methodist University and graduated cum laude from Tulane
Law School in 1997. Following law school, Ms. Sheehan worked as a Public
Defender in Dallas County where she gained extensive courtroom
experience. Afterwards, she returned to the Austin area to open a
private practice.
Over the past 20 years, her focus has primarily included estate
planning, real estate, civil litigation and probate (" death and dirt" )
law. Ms. Sheehan is a presenter for statewide Continuing Legal
Education courses and has published articles for the State Bar of Texas.
She has also served as both planning committee member and Course
Director for Intermediate Estate Planning.
In 2018, Ms. Sheehan was appointed to be the Presiding Judge of the
City of Pflugerville. In 2019 she was appointed to serve the City of Bee
Cave in the same capacity.
